Basile grew up in an elite athletic and academic environment : at age 11 he entered Paris Saint Germain’s youth teams and then spent 6 years in Châteauroux’s football academy, reaching the professional level.

After studying at SMU and NYU and playing NCAA Division 1 soccer, he led sales and marketing efforts at Danone in France, US, and China before participating in developing Danone's VC fund, Danone Manifesto Ventures.

Basile is an avid kitesurfer and surfer who really needs to work on his ping pong serves.
Basile is in charge of supporting athletes through their professional and personal transitions
